Daily ETH auction rules
Every published project can participate. Three advertising placements do not limit the number of participants.
- Each daily lot opens at 00:00 UTC. The opening offer is 0.2 ETH; each later offer must add at least 0.01 ETH. Offers are signed by a wallet and accepted by this server. They are not funded on-chain bids.
- Each lot closes at 18:00 UTC. An accepted offer during its last 60 seconds extends the close to 60 seconds after acceptance, capped at 18:30 UTC. The server’s time decides acceptance.
- The highest accepted offer wins that placement for the following UTC day, 00:00–24:00. Each lot is paid separately. A wallet or project already leading a lot cannot raise its own offer.
- Only the winner sends ETH. Payment must be mined on Ethereum mainnet within 2 hours of the final close. The receiving wallet is 0x0CA30b37597BE59A13327a4E247f992a8ccC73F4. Network fees are additional. There is no automatic refund.
- A winner who does not pay on time forfeits that placement. Other participants owe nothing. There is no automatic charge or runner-up charge. The unfilled inventory is not represented as sold.
- Verification checks the winning wallet, destination, amount, successful transaction, time window, canonical block and Ethereum finality. A pending transfer does not activate advertising. One transfer cannot buy multiple lots.
- Paid winners receive labeled Sponsored placements. Publication and ordinary directory inclusion are free. No reach, clicks or financial return is guaranteed.
- The looping gavel is ambient animation. It cannot accept offers, close a lot, confirm a transaction or declare a winner.
The older USDC demo remains available separately with simulated money and its own test clock.
